In addition to being a partner of Lex Lumina, Kristelia García is an Anne Fleming Research Professor at Georgetown University Law Center, where she teaches courses in copyright, trademark, competition, and property. She has published broadly at the intersection of intellectual property and economics, with a particular focus on competition and private ordering.
Prior to joining academia, Prof. García spent nearly a decade working in the music industry in Los Angeles; first at Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan, LLP, then as Director of Business Development in charge of content licensing at MySpace Music, and most recently as Director at Universal Music Group. Prior to her work in music, she was an associate at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz in New York.
